Used Forklift Parts - Eventually, lift truck parts would wear and must be replaced. Buying brand new parts could become a pricey venture so one more idea is to acquire used lift truck components. This can save much money in the end. It is a great idea to acquire used lift truck parts which have been remanufactured. These parts will guarantee that you are getting parts that will work for a long time and be productive.
Remanufacturing broken and worn out parts is a less expensive way in general as opposed to rebuilding. With rebuilding components, just the components that are worn out or broken get changed, which means that other wearable components may break down soon after acquisition.

The engines are hot tested after reassembly to ensure that there are no leaks, no noises, no oil pressure problems or any vacuum.
Transmissions are one more thing that is oven cleaned after being disassembled. The transmission is then washed. A thorough inspection is performed so as to check for any cracks. Seals, bearings and bushings are all replaced. Usually, the replacement parts utilized on transmission parts meet OEM specifications.
Certain components like the water pump, torque converters, the alternator, steer axles and the starter can obtain longer serviceability after being remanufactured and having all wearable parts replaced. The electronic control in the electric lift truck is maintained by the control card. This particular card could even be reproduced with replacing all aged and worn out components. Not like other forklift components the control card could only have the worn and aged components replaced.
Components that are remanufactured have to be comprehensively inspected upon reassembly to ensure they are in good condition before being sold. When obtaining these parts, it is a good idea to make sure that they have undergone all of the proper testing and inspections. On certain larger parts like steer axles, engines and transmissions, OEM specification replacement parts should be used.
The forklift dealer can ensure that the parts they have reproduced meet the OEM specifications. This will also guarantee the parts meet industry standards. This attention to detail offers more serviceability out of remanufactured components opposed to the components that were simply rebuilt.
